Sports = lose weight?
As we know that exercise burns calories, which is very important to decrease weight. The problem is, after exercise, we will feel hungry and to overcome them we will eat. If we exercise, but consumed more food certainly will not cause weight loss effects.
The issue is not on the selection of food, but how exercise triggers hunger. Hunger that is what triggers a person to consume more calories.
Then the question whether the exercise required in the process of weight loss?
The answer was quite surprising. According to the writings of authors in the health section of Time magazine, John Cloud, on a comparative study of female body weight, with overweight women who exercised compared to women who do not exercise, her weight is not much different.
The study involved four women, three women doing sports with different types accompanied with a personal trainer for six months. Then, one woman only keep food and do not exercise, the result is their weight is not much different.
Other studies also indicate that case. Gary Taubes, author of “Good Calories, Bad Calories” make a conclusion similar to the comparative study. Sports are important for maintaining health, but not to lose weight. To maintain stable weight to be carried out with sports, but not to lose weight.
Cloud reveals the existence of that fact does not mean that the benefits of exercise sidelined. Sports equipment necessary for the health of its just that the effect is not significant enough to lose weight.
